Chilli Pepper Chicken
1½kg Chicken legs /thighs
2 large onions thickly sliced
1Tb Garlic paste
1Tb Ginger Paste
½Ts Chilli Powder
1Tb Black peppercorns lightly crushed with rolling pin or mortar & pestle (or vodka bottle!)
¼Ts Clove powder
Heat oil in frying pan and saute onion till translucent.
Add remaining spices and fry together for 2 minutes.
Add chicken and cook till done stirring every 5 minutes. Cook on a low-medium heat to allow chicken to cook through. Cover with lid/alfoil to focus heat and ensure thorough cooking.
If it gets too dry add a bit more oil and water.
Serve with rice or slices of crusty bread.
